Frankly,That depends on exactly which part of the shower fixture that is leaking and the type of shower you are having.

The most common leak happens between the thread joint. What you need to do is just tightening the joint by turning it in the clockwise direction until it is fully tighten.

If it is an old shower, you may need to change the rubber shield or o-ring in between the joint.

If the joint cannot be tighten after turning for several rounds, that signify the thread has already worn out, for a temporary solution you may like to try to wrap the thread with "PTFE Thread Seal Tape" below:



If the there is a clear visible crack on the fixture then it is advisable to change a new one and to be done by a qualified plumber.
